We collaborated with Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) to create a range of concept designs for new facilities.

These standard designs cater for different unit profiles, helping to ensure each facility meets the needs of each local unit and its volunteers.

Following extensive consultation and development, four key concepts were produced:

  • Satellite (2-12 volunteers)
  • Type A (8-19 volunteers)
  • Type B (20-35 volunteers)
  • Type C (35-90 volunteers)

Note: A Divisional Control Point (DCP) can be applied to any facility type as required in that VICSES region. A DCP can hold over 20 volunteers and improves coordinated operations with other emergency service agencies.
