Construction underway for the VICSES Emerald site
With approximately 5,000 cubic metres of fill installed at the rear of site, a 5-metre retaining wall including 2,500 bricks, and concrete pours for the floor slab taking place, construction for the future Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) Emerald facility is in full swing.
The VICSES Emerald volunteers, the Local MP, and representatives from FIMMA Constructions and the Emergency Services Infrastructure Authority visited 277-287 Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Emerald yesterday to see the new site taking shape. The topography and configuration of land has presented its challenges, but the project team have met all site and environmental obstacles to prepare and build this fit-for-purpose facility.
The project is on track and anticipated to be completed by late July this year.
